Whether you’re just arriving on our island or far from our shores, we can welcome you to our distillery in person or online.
We’re thrilled to offer you a newly renovated Visitor Center and invite our guests on a tour of the facility. Another exciting change is that we are introducing a new reservation system for booking a tour - https://www.cruzanrum.com/tours-and-experiences. Of course, at the conclusion of your tour, you will be encouraged to sample rum and cocktails at our new tasting bar!

Before your visit
Please schedule the tour of your choice by going to our Experiences page https://www.cruzanrum.com/tours-and-experiences.
Please be responsible when joining us at the distillery. While we are excited to welcome each and every one of you, we reserve the right to refuse tour guests who appear to be intoxicated, or who enter the premises with alcohol in hand. Also, please note that ours is a walking tour, so please wear comfortable shoes (no heels, slippers or bare feet allowed). Our tour route is not wheelchair accessible, but we will do our best to accommodate special needs. Please reply to your confirmation email or email us at information@cruzanrum.com in advance if you have any special needs or requests.

How long does the tour last?
Each tour lasts approximately one hour which includes a walking tour of our distillery and sampling in
our Visitor Center. -
Is there a dress code for the tour?
We are happy to welcome guests wearing comfortable clothing, cover-ups are necessary, with
comfortable shoes. Close-toed shoes are recommended, due to walking through a working facility. No
heels or slippers are allowed. -
Do you offer private tours?
In addition to our General Admission Tour, we offer an exclusive VIP Tour for a more in-depth experience. Please call ahead to book a VIP Tour.

Do you have a gift shop?
Yes, it is located in the visitor’s center and is open Monday – Friday, 11:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Can the gift shop ship my rum home for me?
Unfortunately our laws do not allow us to ship alcohol, but luckily there is another way to get Cruzan to your door. You can check a six-pack box of rum without any baggage fees on most airlines.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We kindly accept credit/debit card payments, no cash.

Can I walk into a distillery tour, or do I need to book ahead? Do I need to print and bring my confirmation of booking?
All guests need to book online ahead of time to secure a spot at the time you prefer. You do not need to print your booking confirmation, only an ID is required to confirm your identity.

Are there days or holidays when the distillery is closed?
We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Easter
Sunday/Monday, Thanksgiving, Day After Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. Please see the tour booking
area for our complete schedule as there may be additional days that we are closed. For the safety of
our guests and employees, the distillery may also close during severe weather conditions. -
Are children allowed on the tour?
We do allow children on the tour, however, it’s important to note that our tour is in an industrial setting,
going through the actual plant where the rum is made. There may be areas that are difficult to navigate
with a child. -
Is the full tour accessible?
The tour is a full walking tour over uneven ground with some areas of the tour requiring climbing stairs.
While not all areas are accessible, we will do our best to accommodate guests of all abilities, but we ask
that these guests call us to schedule the best tour and time. -
What should I bring to the tour?
A hat/sun protection is advised, as the majority of the tour is outside. Closed toe shoes, and something to carry away all your Cruzan souvenirs are also useful!

Is tasting part of the distillery tour?
Yes, every tour concludes with a sample of all the hard work you just witnessed. Choose two mixed drinks from our menu and four samples of any product. Experience it all under the shade of our pavilion, surrounded by the hospitality of our staff.

Can I do a tasting without taking the tour?
Yes, you are more than welcome to purchase a General Admission ticket, skip the tour and go straight to sampling. And while we do consider trying many of our flavors a tour of its own, there are also so many interesting things to learn from our guides!

Do you have non-alcoholic beverages for purchase?
No, we do not offer any beverages for purchase, outside of the cocktails and samples included with your
tour purchase. We do offer non-alcoholic beverages as part of the drink options you may select with
your tour purchase. -
Do you offer food at the distillery?
No food is offered at the distillery at this time.

Do you offer a virtual tour?
While we do not currently offer an interactive virtual tour, we do have a selection of 4 videos that offer an insider’s view into the making of Cruzan® Rum and the island of St. Croix. We encourage you to enjoy them on the Experience page of this website.

Do you have to take a tour to visit?
No, we welcome all guests to come in to shop in our Visitor Center or if you’d like to sample some of our delicious rums, you can purchase a Drink Experience (must be 18 years of age or older) and get the four samples and two cocktails that you’d get if taking a tour, for just $15.

Where is Cruzan® Rum?
Cruzan Rum is in Frederiksted on the island of St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands at 3A Estate Diamond, Frederiksted, St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands 00840. For the best directions to our historic site, please refer to the map above. Transportation to the distillery is available by private car, taxi or tour bus.
